Overview:

The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for an Administrative Coordinator to join the Human Resources office.

This Sr. Business Systems Analyst position will support the Judicial Council Digital Services team for various program areas and providing lead project management support and development for the various SharePoint initiatives. This position will ensure that the Digital Service unit-managed sites are implemented using best practices, ensure proper provisioning and access, and all users are proficient and effectively using the SharePoint site. The incumbent will provide project management activities including managing project schedules, providing status reports to leadership, facilitate monthly user groups, develop training materials, assist with design and development efforts of SharePoint sites (for various programs), and lead the development of the governance structure for SharePoint. This position will provide as-needed lead support in the Digitization of Court Records unit and assist the court with modernizing administrative processes by using electronic records and promoting the Digital Courts initiative. The Sr. Business Services Analyst position works with minimum supervision and coordinates with other IT technical teams to ensure product delivery.

The salary range for this classification is $7,485 - $11,228 per month. The hiring salary will be at or around the start of the range depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to work in the San Francisco office; hybrid work options for employees who live in areas surrounding this location may be considered. In San Francisco, the office is only a 7-minute walk from the Civic Center BART station in downtown San Francisco. In Sacramento, the office is located minutes from downtown, just north of Discovery Park.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform lead activities with the Development and Deployment of the SharePoint Application.
  • Lead Project Management Activities for the Digitization of Court Records Program Area.

  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships and manage expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor s degree, and five (5) years of experience providing technical and business process support, analysis, or project management for systems/applications.

Possession of a bachelor s degree in a directly related field such as computer science, management information systems, etc., may be substituted for one of the years of required experience.

An additional four years of professional experience as noted above may substitute for the bachelor s degree. Or, additional directly related experience and/or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

OR

One year as a Business Systems Analyst with the Judicial Council of California or one year of experience performing the duties of a class comparable in the level of responsibility to that of a Business Systems Analyst in a California Superior Court or California state-level government entity.
