Job Title: Import/Export Operations Assistant/Customer Service/Operations AssistantLocation: 7676 Hazard Center Drive, Suite 1000, San Diego, CA 92108Duration: 3 months with possibility of extensionPosition Type: Hourly contract Position (W2 only)Note:Working hours: 9:00am ~ 5:00pm (12:00pm~1:00pm Lunch time)35 hours/weekWork style : Basic work from home (every Tuesday: office work)On the first and last business day, a staff member will be required to come to the San Diego office to pick up the laptop and for orientation/return.Contract period: 3 months (possible extension)Business content:Data input/output/update task assistance(Customer PO/Vendor PO/Purchasing/Sales IV)Requires someone with experience in data input/output using the system.Data update and confirmation/communication of Excel log sheetImport cargo tracking and cross-board schedule managementTracing the schedule from container shipment to warehouse arrivalDistribution and management of import documents (to Broker/warehouse)Assist with customer delivery date managementAssist with AR (remaining sales) collection workAdditional job details:Overview:The temporary employee is responsible for suggesting possible solutions and providing follow-up as needed.Temporary employees may be responsible for inbound, outbound, or both.Job responsibilities:Contact customers to answer inquiries and notify them of investigation results and planned adjustments.Unresolved customer inquiries will be coordinated with the designated department for further investigation.Record customer interactions and transactions, record details of inquiries, comments and actions taken.Obtain and investigate all relevant information to assess legitimacy and identify possible causes.Skills:Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage time.Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.Experience using computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. (Tsuyo talent is especially needed for Excel)Education/Experience:High school diploma or GED required.Several years of import/export related experience required.Quality-related experience is a plus.
