Summary:
Under specific direction, this position will perform routine repetitive laboratory tasks, which may include
the preparation of laboratory supplies and equipment, and other related duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists teams and core staff with all aspects of laboratory projects and experiments using standard
laboratory techniques under supervision
Assist with autoclaving, media/buffer preparations, stocking and maintenance of inventory/supplies,
and other related duties and tasks, as required
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge or experience in a scientific research laboratory is desired
Other Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Willingness and ability to work with rodents, biohazardous material and/or potential carcinogens
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Be responsible, organized, and possess strong attention to detail
Possess strong time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities
Compensation: The Expected hiring Range for this position is $17.47/hour.
