Experience Maintenance Mechanic in Manufacturing/Packaging Machines
We are seeking a reliable and experienced mechanic for a small manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine setup, maintenance, and overall equipment upkeep. Knowledge of packaging lines is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain machinery in the manufacturing facility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery breakdowns in a timely manner
- Ensure proper functioning of packaging lines
- Collaborate with production team to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area
- Willingness to work Saturdays if required by production demands
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of machine setup, maintenance, and repair
- Familiarity with packaging lines and related equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Flexibility to work Saturdays as needed
Hours are from 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday, and Saturday if required.
