The Boeing Company is hiring for an exciting new opportunity for an Experienced (Level 3) Financial Analyst in San Antonio, Texas.
The selected Experienced Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in the C-17 program team, supporting the maintenance and ongoing development of 275 airplanes across the United States Air Force fleet and 8 foreign partner countries!

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages databases in SQL and Access
• Develops resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs
• Initiates variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management
• Makes recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
• Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• 3 years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management)
• 3 years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with Excel, Access or other database management
• Experience with SQL
• 3 years of experience with Estimates of Completion (EACs), forecasting, resource planning, and cost management systems
• 3 years of experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations
• 3 years of experience leading projects with little direct supervision and drive project to completion
• 3 years of experience with financial planning processes and tools
• Experience using strong verbal and written communication skills both virtually and in person

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $79,050 - $102,000
