We are hiring for a Day Warehouse Food Production Associate. This position is responsible for breaking down case items into smaller increments in a safe and quality manner to promote food safety. This is a full time, 1st shift position with a starting pay at $14.00/hr and we offer benefits such as medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401K & more!

Schedule: 5 days per week

Hours: 8am-Warehouse Completion

**Responsibilities**

* Weigh product and package into correct bags or boxes

* Count product and package into correct bags or boxes

* Re-pack tomatoes (remove green or decayed product)

* Split and box items as needed

* Check quality on all products before packaging

* Clean and sanitize tables and scales

* Keep split room clean and neat

* Stock finished products into designated bins or shelf.

* Ensure designated areas for finished product are clearly labeled appropriately

* Food Safety as it relates to this position

* Maintain a safe working environment to reduce injuries and workers compensation claims

* All other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

Must be able to read scale measurements and count items

Standing and Lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly

Frequent bending and overhead lifting up to 50 pounds

Pushing or pulling loading cart with a maximum of 500 pounds frequently

Must be able to work in colder temperatures of 0 degrees to 40 degrees for 8 to 10 hours daily

Must be able to operate machinery such as twist tie machine, scale, and tape gun

Pallet Jack and Forklift experience preferred
