Job Description
PrideStaff is working with a local organization in need of identifying individuals seeking career opportunities with this very well established company with various locations throughout the country.
We are looking to hire Manufacturing and Production Operators to join our team! You will operate machinery and equipment, as well as help to manage the manufacturing process from start to finish. Ideally, this individual will be key to improvement of efficiency. This position will involve working with and around machinery outdoors, amongst the elements in hot and cool and rainy weather.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Taking and processing raw materials into finished product
- Maintains inventory records of raw materials used in manufacturing
- Keeps accurate and up-to-date records and/or data sheets on materials in process
- Prepare and track manufacturing process, schedules and orders start to finish
- Work with other team members in related departments to ensure success of production
- Plan and order materials as needed in order to successfully fill orders
- Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical failures
- Perform and document preventative maintenance
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Adhere to SOPs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings
- Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
