Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for assisting with the collections activities for of a large, billion dollar organization. The AR Analyst will interact and partner with multiple internal departments and business locations to ensure collection of balances owed to the company. The AR Analyst must possess strong attention to detail, emphasize accuracy and be willing to be a team player and provide support outside the core functions of the position when the needs arise.

Responsibilities:

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a rapidly expanding company via acquisitions
• Ability to handle high volume calls and dispute resolution, as needed, to bring delinquent accounts into good standing
• Experience working with multiple ERP systems as it relates to the collections and cash application functions
• Partner with business locations to ensure timely collections and handle escalations of uncollectable debt
• Collaborate with the locations on collection related issues to ensure their outstanding balances owed are kept at the lowest possible levels and that root-cause issues are identified and corrected
• Proven ability to analyze complex process errors, identify and implement root cause corrections

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, preferred but not required
• 5 years of commercial, business-to-business, collections required, preferably managing a large portfolio of accounts and/or national accounts
• Demonstrated ability to interface with both internal and external partners and customers
• Effective analytical skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
• Preferred experience with a large ERP such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, time management and prioritization skills necessary to be effective in a fast-paced work environment
• High problem-solving skills
• Strong presence and professionalism
