Schell Brothers is Hiring an Architectural CAD Designer Near Richmond, VA
Schell Brothers is looking for a Architectural CAD Designer to join our team as we continue to grow in the residential construction industry. This is a Full Time Position that would have the following responsibilities:
- Manage multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Meet with a team to collaborate design options
- Coordinate with Architects, Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, and MEP Consultants
- Preparation of Architectural Design
- Preparation of Construction Drawings
- Coordinate documentation for Approvals and Permitting
Requirements
- Residential and/or Commercial Design Experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit
- Ability to create Interior and Exterior Renderings for Marketing and Presentations
- Knowledge of Building Codes
- Experience with developing Floor Plans, Elevations, Sections and Details
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be detail oriented, organized and able to solve problems
- Positive and caring attitude
- Outgoing, professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to collaborate with other Team Members.
- Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual, and honest.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience in similar positions, preferred but not required.
