Akkodis is seeking an Senior Linux Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Richmond, VA/Chicago, IL/Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.

Pay Range: $57-63/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in Linux engineering.
• Expertise: Deep understanding of Redhat products and services.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in RHEL systems administration and management.
• Skilled in automation tools like Ansible and Bladelogic.
• Strong programming skills in Shell, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.
• Experience with RPM packaging, yum, and version control systems.
• Proficient in Jenkins CICD pipelines.
• Capable of thorough testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, EC2) and virtualization technologies (vSAN, NSX).
• Familiarity with security tools and integration.
