Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and implement machine learning algorithms using industry-standard frameworks.
- Process and transform data to enable the training of machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with other machine learning and software engineers to produce software/data deliverables.
- Participate in project scoping and scheduling; track progress of individual tasks and alert stakeholders of issues blocking or preventing completion of tasks.
- In collaboration with technical writers, author appropriate level of design and technical documentation for proposals.
- Contribute to determining solution concepts for project proposals.
- Interact with external clients/suppliers with supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain US Citizenship.
- Maintain Security Clearance.
- Detail oriented and well-organized with a strong ability to prioritize, plan, and execute tasks.
- Skilled in written and verbal communications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to be flexible and learn new concepts and technologies on the job.
- Ability to pivot quickly and seamlessly as projects and business needs dictate.
- Ability to work effectively and comfortably with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and support staff a distributed environment.
- Experience with programming languages (Python, C/ C , MATLAB, etc).
- Experience with industry-standard machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, etc).
- Experience with some of the software tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Hibernate, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with streaming data processing frameworks such as Kafka / Spark/ Hadoop is a plus.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux.
- BS or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
- MS and/or professional certifications are a plus.
- Entry level to 5 years related professional experience.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
