Based in Racine, WI, the role will be responsible for managing end to end support, coordination, and execution of a broad portfolio of projects including new product development, supply chain, customer business development, process improvement and cost savings initiatives to ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-quality execution. This is a pivotal role that ensures all projects are effectively executed, stakeholders are kept informed, and team members are kept engaged, focused, and on-track to deliver annual operating plans. This position will require working on cross-brand multiple complex projects and/or process improvements simultaneously, and will act as an expert to provide support to the PMO team and make sure best practices are executed.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • Project Execution
    • Manage execute complex new product development, supply chain, capital, network optimization, cost savings programs, process improvement and operations projects
    • Manage execute projects supporting the growth of business for LSB
    • Ensure all projects are executed on-time, on-budget, and on-quality.
    • Monthly project status report
  • Process leadership improvement PMO support
    • Lead oversee the project planning product development stage-gate execution processes.
    • Drive continuous process improvement lead change management initiatives from design to adoption.
    • Ensure cross functional teams have clarity around roles responsibilities, system, and tools involved in the end to end project execution and are held accountable for their part.
    • Shepherd coach Supply Chain and business functions on project stage gate process
  • Portfolio Management
    • Support the PMO Portfolio Managers in driving brand-based project portfolio management and capital resource planning processes, including the development and/or refinement of prioritization tools and communication vehicle
QualificationsRequired:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (technical/business)
  • 5 years proven project management experience, including project budgeting and proposal review, with clear understanding of technical interdependencies.
  • Authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship
Preferred:
  • Proven experience leading and managing project teams in a highly collaborative and dynamic business environment be strong enough to voice dissent but flexible enough to bring the team to consensus.
  • Demonstrated experience building positive team environments and leading with influence.
  • Highly skilled at developing interpersonal relationships with multiple levels and internal and external functions in the corporation.
  • Excellent communication / presentation / collaboration / customer service skills
  • Experience in operating within a high-speed manufacturing environment
  • Experience in collaborating with consultants, engineers, contractors
  • Experience using SAP PLM ECC
  • Strong technical skills and understanding: Data analysis and problem-solving capabilities
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business
