About this Role

R. R. Cassidy, a rapidly expanding Quanta Services company located in Prairieville, Louisiana, is seeking an HR Coordinator. The ideal candidate will possess experience in human resources or administrative roles, supporting the growth initiatives of a heavy construction company.

What You'll Do

  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks efficiently and confidentially.
  • Monitor job postings and review resumes/applications.
  • Address common inquiries from applicants and employees regarding policies, benefits, and hiring procedures; escalate complex issues to senior HR staff or management.
  • Schedule interviews, coordinate with potential candidates, and participate in interviews as required.
  • Arrange pre-employment screenings and manage quarterly random, post-accident, and follow-up drug and alcohol tests.
  • Conduct new hire orientations, including paperwork, Form I9, E-Verify, handbook review, and benefits enrollment.
  • Support day-to-day HR operations and assist HR Manager with various projects.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR 3 years’ experience as an administrative assistant.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Team-oriented with the capacity to follow instructions.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and dedication to achieving outcomes.
  • Experience in a construction office environment is advantageous.
