GHR Healthcare is seeking a qualified OR Technologist to assist a premier Pittsburgh, PA hospital. This is a full-time contract with the option to extend.

Pay range $44-$46/hour!

Schedule:

• Rotating Shifts
• 13-week contract with option to extend

Responsibilities:

• Maintain proper sterile technique during the procedure
• Functioning as a scrub person, circulation assistant and member of the surgical team
• Setting patients up for surgery
• Assemble, maintain, and track surgical instruments and equipment
• Inspect all packaged items to ensure integrity
• Conduct pre-op, intra-op, and post-op surgical counts according to AORN standard.
• Maintain the integrity of the surgical field during procedures
• Scrubs for surgical procedures as assigned, maintaining proficiency in all surgical specialties
• Utilizes principles of aseptic technique in performing responsibilities in the operating room

Local Pay: $44-46 per hour

Gross Travel Pay: $2,280

Requirements

• CST certification required
