The Production Mig Welder Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques and operating various welding devices.
Production Mig Welder Job Responsibilities:

• Weld metal components using gas metal arc welding (MIG) equipment
• Set up welding machines and select materials needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Fit and attach parts for welding then fuse them together
• Do test welds to ensure high quality and safety
• Inspect finished welds to confirm they meet standards
• Perform quality control checks on welds

Production Mig Welder Skills Required:

• Experience operating and maintaining MIG welding machines
• Knowledge of metallurgy, welding techniques and procedures
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• An eye for detail when following instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
