Grand Canyon University is Hiring a Student Worker - College of Doctoral Studies - Doctoral Research Assistant (FWS/NFWS) Near Phoenix, AZ
Purpose within the Organization: The purpose of this position is to assist the College of Doctoral Studies with administrative research processes in support of Doctoral learners and faculty. This is accomplished using a variety of unique, special purpose information systems and processes. The selected student worker will gain first-hand knowledge in the administrative process and management of Doctoral Research. Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
Operational use and review of Institutional Review Board system and processes.
Tracking student dissertation progression.
Assisting in faculty payments and updating system information.
Other duties as assigned.
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
Laptop with enough memory/speed to work with large databases
2 monitors, mouse
Access to: xRM, Crm, DC Network, Afadm
Qualifications:
Must be available to work over Summer.
Computer Science or Business Information and Technology student preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently while functioning within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Basic to intermediate relational database knowledge.
Prior experience with MS Office products (Excel and Access) with the ability to learn new software.
Experience working in an office atmosphere.
Detail-oriented.
Professional appearance.
Punctual.

Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
