Leapros Skilled Trades is a trusted workforce solutions partner within the construction industry and is currently seeking experienced Cable Technicians for various local structured cabling positions throughout the Phoenix, AZ area (multiple positions & overtime available!).

We are partnered with one of the nation’s leading telecommunications and structured cabling companies and have opportunities available for technicians of all skill sets! Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting your career, we welcome candidates of all skill levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Pull and route low-voltage cabling, including CAT 5/6, coaxial, fiber optics, and more.
  • Terminate cable and distribution frames, ensuring proper connections and signal transmission.
  • Install support structures, such as cable trays and conduit, for efficient cable routing.
  • Troubleshoot cable infrastructure on commercial or industrial projects, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, including fellow technicians, Project Managers, and Superintendents.
  • Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in structured cabling and telecommunications installation is a plus but not required. We welcome candidates at all skill levels
  • Fiber splicing and termination is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of universal color codes for cable identification and labeling
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as EIA, TIA, BICSI, or NEC is not required, however, preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Location: Phoenix, Mesa, and Chandler, AZ

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour BOE
