Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work in a hospital setting, providing care for patients requiring continuous monitoring and treatment.
Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to assess patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform venipuncture and IV therapy
- Assist in procedures such as tube feeding and spinal taps
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Prior experience in a hospital or Level I Trauma Center preferred
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation
- Familiarity with sterile processing techniques
- Ability to provide health coaching and patient education
- Competency in trauma medicine practices
