Pegasus Laboratories, Inc. , part of PBI-Gordon Corporation , is eager to add an experienced Procurement Manager to the team in Pensacola, FL. Pegasus Laboratories, Inc. , is an innovative veterinary pharmaceutical and medical product company committed to supporting veterinarians and the animal health industry. As a Procurement Manager , you will monitor costs to ensure competitive pricing from vendors, negotiate with suppliers, and when applicable, improve pricing terms, quality, and on-time deliveries as required for all materials, components, and subcontracted finished goods. Additionally, this role will manage a team of direct reports. Job Responsibilities: •Execute all facets of the S&OP process to assist in achieving an optimum customer service level, quality, and profitability in accordance with corporate values •Manage and maintain supply agreements including pricing, forecasts, annual purchasing requirements, supply shortages, and changes in accordance with established quality and financial standards •Ensure that NDA and confidentiality is maintained with all vendors, third party warehouse or manufacturing organizations and new suppliers •Measure forecast accuracy, forecast bias, inventory turns, and slow moving and obsolete inventory to help maximize revenue and improve data integrity and continuous improvement of processes •Lead and develop procurement personnel to assist with monitoring in-stock conditions, forecasting, obtaining the best price, extended payment terms, freight terms, quality assurance, handling backorder or discontinued items, secondary sourcing and on-time deliveries Benefits and perks: •Lucrative compensation plus bonuses •Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) •401(K) retirement •Flexible Spending Account •Disability insurance •Healthcare coverage •Pet insurance Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred •7 years of manufacturing experience in procurement, specifically buying, pricing negotiations, vendor, relations, production planning, and people leadership •4 years of procurement experience in the animal health or pharmaceutical industry, specifically in buying, pricing negotiations, vendor relations, production planning and people leadership •Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
