Pinery Veterinary Center is looking for Part-Time Registered Veterinary Technicians experienced in Preventative and Urgent Care as well as Surgery and Anesthesia, with a passion for providing excellent and efficient patient care. Some duties will include;

• Professional client communication and education.
• Diagnostic imaging and utilizing safety protocols.
• Use of Idexx Laboratory Diagnostic machines (Catalyst/Procyte/SnapPro)
• Nursing skills including; restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SQ/IM, applying, and maintaining bandages.
• Proficient in Dental Prophylaxis/Charting/Radiology.
• Proficient in Anesthesia Monitoring.
• Proficient in Anesthetic and Pharmaceutical drug knowledge.
• Proficient in IV catheter placement and Venipuncture.
• Knowledge of basic Preventative Care protocols for specific species.
• Effective time management.

Education/ Experience requirements: Associate Degree in Veterinary Science, Passed VTNE, Registered with DORA as a Registered Veterinary Technician (License will be requested and verified).

Pay: Starting at $26.00 per hour, DOE & Certifications
