SUMMARY:

Assembles parts of various materials in building engine control devices such as carburetor repair kits, and other related products or subassemblies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assembles various components and parts in constructing components per engineering diagrams and schematics.
2. Inspects own work to ensure accuracy and compliance with existing quality standards.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Follows current safety policies and procedures and maintains safe work environment.
2. Rotates to different work stations to meet production needs.
3. Because of the changing nature of our business, this job description will inevitably change. The employee will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within his/her capabilities as directed by management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School degree or GED preferred
2. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
3. Requires good hand/eye coordination and color discrimination
4. Occasionally required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel and stand for long periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions are a warehouse with a cement floor. Employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
