Sprout Early Care & Preschool is a small business located in Kalamazoo and Otsego, MI. We are social, fast-paced, fun, and our goal is to build a dynamic team by hiring fun, professional, nurturing teachers that will have a positive effect on the families and children we care for.

Our center is open from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Hours may vary due to needs of the center. Our goal is to hire an assistant infant teacher to provide a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment to all of the families we serve in the community. The age of children in our infant room vary from 6 weeks to 14 months old.

Requirements:

-CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)

-Ability to pass a fingerprint background check

- Minimum 1-year experience working with children

-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues

-Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the well-being of all children & have a passion to work with children

-Possess a high school diploma

-Be able to kneel, squat, lift, bend, and carry children of various sizes and weights

-Have reliable transportation

-Ability to work at a fast pace

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
