Job Summary:
The Maintenance Engineer at Staybridge Suites Omaha West in West Omaha will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall operations and appearance of the extended stay hotel. This individual contributor position will be responsible for coordinating and performing preventative and routine maintenance as well as responding to guest and team member requests in a timely and efficient manner. As a key member of the hospitality team, the Maintenance Engineer will help create a positive experience for our guests by maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry with a pay range of $18 to $25 per hour, paid biweekly. As a member of the team at Staybridge Suites Omaha West, you will also have hotel discounts. Hiring bonus - $1500.00! 
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance tasks throughout the hotel, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
- Respond to guest and team member requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and storage areas
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas for maintenance issues and immediately fix or report any problems
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and inventory of supplies
- Assist with special projects and renovations as needed
- Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures and policies
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and properly
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hospitality setting
- Proficient in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to pass a background check
