Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting and following up on claims with health insurance companies to ensure timely reimbursement.

Duties:
- Review and verify accuracy of billing and coding
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Enter charges, payments, and adjustments into the billing system
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Resolve billing issues and denials with insurance providers
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Communicate with patients regarding billing and insurance matters

Experience:
The successful candidate should possess:
- Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT coding, and medical billing systems
- Experience in medical collections and accounts receivable management
- Familiarity with DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) codes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
