George DeLallo Co., Inc. is Hiring a Production Planner Near Mount Pleasant, PA
Essential Functions
- Review sales orders and forecasts and calculate materials needed for production.
- Review material requirements and inventory levels and coordinate with Procurement to order needed materials factoring in lead times.
- Coordinate with production managers to formulate production plans and create manufacturing orders to meet shipping deadlines.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise and adjust production plans accordingly.
- Continuously monitor inventory to utilize materials in the proper rotation.
- Collect, review, and analyze production data and identify ways to minimize cost and maximize efficiency.
- Input production data into the system and report on results.
- Special projects as assigned
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills; able to multi-task and follow through
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of supply chain, manufacturing processes and business operations
- Attention to detail, speed and mathematical accuracy
- Superior problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Candidate must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- 3 years related production planning experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents written in English.
- The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- In addition to an office environment, the employee must be able to work in warehouse and production environments, including refrigerated facilities.
