THE POSITION
Position Title Investment Operations Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and process-oriented Investment Operations Manager to join the NLG Capital investment team. In this role, you will support the smooth and efficient execution of investment activities by developing and implementing efficient operational processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to oversee and lead our Investment Operations Function.
Responsibilities
Investment Operations Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of investment activities, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee trade settlement, and recordkeeping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and operational risk management.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, investment accounting, and other teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
• Reconcile investment accounts with custodians and other external providers to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Vendor Contract Oversight

• Review, negotiate, and finalize vendor contracts related to investment operations, ensuring best value and alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
• Manage contract renewals and amendments, proactively identifying and negotiating advantageous terms.
• Maintain a centralized repository of all vendor contracts with easy access for relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify and address any potential issues.

THE PERSON
Pivotal Experience & Expertise

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment operations, preferably with a proven track record of success.
• Experience with Investment Portfolio Management, Trade Entry and Accounting Systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills,with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

In addition to base salary, other rewards may include an annual bonus, quarterly bonuses, commissions, and other long-term incentive compensation, depending on the position.
