Job Summary:

• 1. Responsible for removing, repairing, or relocating machine parts, installing air and water lines, and aligning and adjusting machines for production operation.
• 2. Tasked with diagnosing defects and performing repair and preventive maintenance on various types of hydraulic equipment, machine tools, and related equipment.
• 3. Must construct, install, maintain, repair, and overhaul test stands, fixtures, and related hydraulic equipment.
• 4. Expected to plan, layout and construct additions, partitions, benches, shipping boxes, and other carpentry.
• 5. Responsible for checking and calibrating new or rebuilt equipment after installation and identifying and repairing numerically controlled machine malfunctions.
• 6. Must troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and mechanical operations for proper operation using precision test equipment.
• 7. May work with computers and computer software to create and operate programs, reports, and spreadsheets.
• 8. Coordinate the purchase, inventory delivery, and pickup of hazardous material and maintain a current inventory of on-site chemicals.
• 9. Responsible for advising and assisting in the clean-up of chemical spills and providing technical assistance on hazardous materials compliance and safe practices.
• 10. At least five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities is required.
• 11. May require proficiency with pump and valve overhaul procedures, ability to work from blueprints and sketches, and knowledge of general hydraulics technology.
• 12. May require the ability to set up and operate carpentry, hand, and power tools and knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes.
• 13. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and potential need for forklift operator certification.
• 14. Must demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with others as a team player.

Job Type: Contract
