Partner with the bestAs a Manufacturing Engineer Manager, you will provide support for solving complex technical problems that arise in manufacturing production. Working with leading-edge technology, you will make key decisions, resolve issues, and oversee projects to shape enhancements. You’ll unite cross-functional teams to connect, share knowledge, innovate and to develop improvements.
As a Manufacturing Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Working with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability and test to ensure quality products are designed and built.
- Working cross functionally with technology, sourcing, quality, etc. to resolve issues with products and processes throughout the plant.
- Ensuring team is properly engaged and responsive to the needs of the production cells.
- Structuring assigned organization and staff positions with personnel to accomplish business objectives.
- Selecting, hiring, training, developing, and providing ongoing leadership and direction of assigned personnel.
- Providing ongoing supervision and counseling for employees, guiding them in current positions and assisting with career development and training.
- Managing expense and investment budgets to meet business operating plans.
- Providing guidance and contribution to Variable Cost Out (VCO) programs.
- Managing the manufacturing strategy deployment and Industry 4.0 transformation.
- Managing automation introduction and development.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field.
- A minimum of two years management/leadership experience in an engineering organization within a matrix structure organization.
- Experience in automation implementation.
- Experience managing operations performance with data.
- Proven strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Proven leadership capabilities with ability to motivate others and achieve results within a highly technical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to implement manufacturing strategy plans.
- Proven success embracing and leading change initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change within an organization.
- Knowledge of manufacturing concepts
- Proven ability to successfully work cross-functionally.
