Global Power Components is Hiring a Welder Near Milwaukee, WI
Responsibilities:
- Weld components in flat/vertical or overhead positions
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
- Position and secure workpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools
- Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions
- Manufacturing experience
- Able to read blueprints
- Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Must be highly motivated
- Able to communicate and work well with others
- Must pass competency test, weld test and pre-employment physical including drug screen
We are looking for a dedicated team member that is detail oriented. Most people on our team averages 45 to 65 hours per week. So, we are looking for a core fit into the team that can help make a positive difference.
We have not listed an education requirement; however we will be asking several questions to verify that the responsibilities could be performed.
Hours: 40-50 hours per week
