Join our growing team in the Managed Investments division, which supports real estate investment applications. We seek a strong full-stack software engineer skilled in React, JavaScript, Node.js, Python and SQL. Experience integrating vendor software and building integrations is desired. You will build and support systems used by the NM Real Estate team, so you should have investment experience or a strong desire to learn more about this complex and exciting field. Primary Duties & Responsibilities On our team, you'll understand business requirements, perform data analysis, and design and implement high-quality software solutions. Applies engineering standard processes to analyze and develop software solutions. Develop software using established SDLC processes, such as CI/CD, Code Review, Monitoring, Automation, and practices. Recommends efficiencies to current established development and continuous integration practices. Participates in setting team standards and work using agile methodology. Conducts detailed code evaluation to ensure compliance with established coding standards and best practices. Contributes to technical discussions and decision-making processes within the team. May tackle a mentoring role and provide guidance and support to junior technical talent. Support and improve existing legacy applications by troubleshooting issues, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes. Qualifications 4-5 years of professional production application development or programming experience working with modern engineering tools, languages, and practices. 2-3 years proficiency with JavaScript, React, and Node.js At least 3 years of experience in SQL or other query languages. Strong understanding of engineering principles, design, and standard methodologies. TDD using Jest and/or unit test libraries. Able to collaborate and mentor new team members. Can communicate clearly with technical and business partners. Evolving analytical and critical thinking skills. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Production experience on AWS using serverless patterns and/or EKS, CI/CD using GitLab, Kubernetes, and deployment using CDK concepts is a plus. Production experience with Snowflake and other cloud data technologies is a plus. Understanding the Investment management business domain is a plus.
