King Jesus International Ministry is Hiring a Parking Lot Attendant Near Miami, FL
Job Description
The Parking lot attendant manages and directs the flow of our parking lot and provides added security that will make our congregation and guests happy and safer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages and directs the flow of traffic (parking and exiting) by ushering cars into spaces in a safe and in an organized and orderly manner.
- Patrols the area to provide safety for our congregation. Being aware of surroundings and reporting any suspicious activity.
- Handles the handicapped parking areas are kept free to help vehicles with handicapped parking permits find their reserved spots.
- Places cones, A signs, barricades, and rain items once the rain plan is enacted.
- Assists the elderly and disabled with church entry as needed .
- Operates and transports people on the golf cart from the far ends of lots to the church entrance (before and after service).
- Ensures the even flow of traffic at the entrances/exits and side streets.
- Monitors the parking lot area and unattended vehicles for safety and security observation.
- Implements setups and takedowns for a wide variety of events and activities.
- Completes work in conformance to OSHA/ANSI and KJM standards with proper PPE.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Speaks, writes, and reads fluently in Spanish and English.
- Able to reason and solve practical problems.
- Accountable and punctual in attendance.
- Must be able to adapt to changes in the department and meet demands.
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills and work well with other team members.
- Works with integrity and ethically showing to be dependable.
- Able to lift and/ or move up to 50-100 lbs and work in environments exposed to wet or humid conditions related and unrelated to weather.
Drivers license required
Education and/or Experience Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
