- POSITION SUMMARY
The Payment Products Business Analyst and Product Coordinator I is responsible for planning and executing projects in the Payment Products area for new product launch, payment product implementation, enhancements, testing and documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Plan and execute projects for launching new products, new vendor implementation, system or product enhancements, along with testing and documentation
- Identify and execute tasks that need to be completed to ensure timely and effective execution of projects for new payment products and services; in life product enhancements; new third party service providers' implementations and other major projects;
- Communicate and apply project standards; work with team(s) to identify and manage all dependencies between functional areas involved in the project
- Implement key aspects of the project, including troubleshooting to ensure timely and effective execution
- Support and assist with testing efforts and user testing management for assigned projects; develop consolidated user test plans, executing those test plans and obtaining appropriate sign-off from user managers
- Assess and authorize change requests to platforms as needed
- Provide ad-hoc, performance, and status reporting
- Ensure that the business resources are following established processes; lead and/or participate on the teams to improve process if necessary
- Partner with project managers and team members hands-on to ensure effective execution of plan
- Review and edit requirements, specifications and system design specs for client engagements
- Identify issues and ensure they are tracked/logged and resolved in a timely manner
- Work with impacted departments on technical recommendations, testing and project teams to identify required changes
- Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.
- Communicates and applies project standards.
- Developing or stabilizing vendor's reports for new product / service launched.
- Ongoing support of payment product parameters related to the Pre-paid, and Credit Cards.
- Process reversals, reimbursements to clients via wire transfers, with adequate approval, as needed.
- Interact with other departments relative to customer accounts or products issues
- Interact with processors and vendors to solve problems and perform research on inquiries
- Setting up new customers with Priority / Lounge Access and performing maintenance
- Coordinating activities to enhance, monitor and or update UChoose Rewards at program or customer level
- Interact with Fiserv back office
- Document processes and procedures for areas of responsibility
- Coordinate all activities to maintain up to date procedures and documentation: interact with translator, processors, printer, etc.
- Provide support to questions and documentation as required from the Retail Team and other affiliates like Banco do Brasil Miami, Banco do Brasil New York, BBOSC, etc.
- ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full knowledge and understanding of bank policies, procedures, regulatory and compliance requirements, including but not limited to BSA/AML, CDD, EDD, and others as defined by the Compliance Department
- Attend and/or complete all required training as assigned
- Assist colleagues with projects or tasks when needed
- Act as resource for all personnel. If unable to resolve issues immediately, assume responsibility for follow-up and callback within a reasonable period of time.
- Perform other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position
- EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A) from qualified college or university required, Masters preferred; two (2) years of experience and/or training in business analysis and project management required; previous experience in financial service industry preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
