**Grade 6**

**POSITION PURPOSE**

Responsible for the maintenance of Medicare Advantage databases pertaining to commissions, producer data, training, and compliance. Position works with producers, and internal personnel coordinating sales and marketing activities. Works with producers and internal staff with Medicare advantage enrollment, sales and compliance.

**NATURE AND SCOPE**

* This role does not manage people

* This role reports to this job: MANAGER, MEDICARE SALES OPERATIONS

* Necessary Contacts: All levels of organization management including senior level, departmental and team members.Government Agencies, Program/Project Managers, Business Analysts, Business Owners, Departmental Management and External Partners and consultants.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**

* High School Diploma or equivalent is required

**Work Experience**

* 2 years in the healthcare insurance industry is required

**Skills and Abilities**

* Must have experience with sales, sales support or marketing support operations.

* Must have strong working knowledge of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations and Medicare-associated products.

* Leverage analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues.

* Requires ability to learn quickly and communicates verbally and in writing.

* Requires excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.

* Must demonstrate PC skills including Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

* Must be able to assist both internal and external customers in a variety of situations as well as handle multiple tasks concurrently.

* Able to cohesively work in a team environment to ensure efficient and effective completion of all tasks for assigned groups.

**Licenses and Certifications**

* Must be able to obtain and maintain Louisiana Health Insurance License. 1 year

* Must be able to obtain and maintain annual AHIP Medicare Certification. 1 year

**ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

* Answer calls from both producers and potential prospects and identify the type of assistance required and work to resolve questions timely and accurately.

* Respond to emails with questions from producers to help complete in-process enrollment applications.

* Complete the documentation necessary to track ongoing issues and facilitate the reporting of overall trends.

* Support sales process for both Medicare Advantage Individual (producers) and Medicare Advantage Group (pre-sales prospects).

* Share benefit design and confirm in-network providers and covered prescription drugs for stakeholders

* Supports sales events, broker training and enrollment events

* Track sales leads for career and independent producers in AgentCubed

* Provide support documentation/recorded calls for Producer Grievances and Compliant Tracking Modules (CTM)s from CMS.

* Responsible for producer contracting, certifications and new plan year training documentation to ensure Producer are ready to sell.

* Manage and track the inventory of giveaways and sales materials that are used to support sales events and outreach.

* Support commission questions and statement issues.
