Full Job description:
To conduct fitness assessments and personal training sessions with clients during one on one or group appointments. Prospecting inside and outside of the gym to create revenue.
Duties:
*Assist with general cleaning around the gym that is directed by manager
*Create individual workout plans for clients based on client goals and fitness objectives on days they are training with you, as well as days they are not training with you.
*Help client meet fitness objectives by coaching and assisting then in personal training sessions
*Generate client progress report with accurate measurements and fitness testing (every 4 weeks)
*Demonstrate the proper use of strength training and cardio vascular equipment
*Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with clients- that includes, but is not limited to: showing up on time, wearing proper attire, maintaining respect and a good rapport with clients, maintaining professionalism at all times, refraining from inappropriate or unwanted touching; sexual or otherwise, and prompting gym safety
*Serve as a knowledgeable source of fitness and nutrition information for clients
*Set up personal training sessions with clients, and follow-through
*Maintain open lines of communication with the client
*Log all personal training sessions in accordance with policies and procedures
*Attend all staff required meetings
*Maintain a respectful and a professional attitude with all company employees
*Comply with all company policies and procedures
