The Patient Care Tech / CNA performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for patients.
PCT / CNA transports patients and prepares patients for Radiology procedures. They will assist in performing correct methods for transfer of non-ICU patients to hospital diagnostic care areas.
Performs other duties related to the work described herein.
Education :
High School Graduate or hold a GED certificate
Completion of an approved nursing assistant course or successfully completing the PCT course by the healthcare facility.
Experience :
Clinical experience in a certified nursing assistant program preferred.
Licenses / Certificates :
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
Certification in the State of Illinois required.
