Ivy Healthcare Group is Hiring a Regional Director of Nursing Near Marion, IA

The Regional Director of Nursing for Ivy Healthcare plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the nursing operations within the Iowa Region. The role will be based in the Ivy at Davenport Facility. The Regional Director of Nursing will oversee both the Ivy at Davenport Nursing and Rehabilitation in Davenport, IA and Silver Oak Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Marion, IA.

This position has potenial for additional growth in the company.

This leadership position requires a blend of clinical expertise, strategic vision, and administrative acumen to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care across multiple healthcare facilities. The incumbent collaborates closely with executive leadership, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to uphold regulatory compliance, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance nursing services, improve patient outcomes, and optimize resource utilization across the region.
  • Operational Oversight: Provide direction and guidance to nursing managers and staff in various facilities to ensure consistent adherence to clinical protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care through performance metrics, audits, and feedback mechanisms, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain high standards.
  • Staff Development: Foster a culture of professional growth and development among nursing personnel through mentorship, training programs, and performance appraisal systems.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing practice, licensure, accreditation, and patient safety standards.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote seamless coordination of care, effective communication, and interdisciplinary problem-solving.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budgetary planning and financial management for nursing operations, balancing cost-effectiveness with quality care delivery.
  • Community Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, healthcare partners, and relevant organizations to enhance healthcare delivery and promote public health initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Extensive clinical experience with progressive leadership responsibilities in healthcare settings.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and drive change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership in fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • MDS Experience is a plus.
  • Management of multiple facilities preferred.
