We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor on our evening 2-2-3 Shift.

COMPETENCIES: (i.e., to be defined in terms of required education, training, skills, and/or experience)

• Minimum 8 years Maintenance experience or incremental growth in a Supervisory or Plant Engineering experience desired.
• Associate's Degree and /or Journeyman Status in a related field preferred
• Mechanical & electrical experience (hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Foundry or Large equipment knowledge preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical problem solving/decision making skills.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Champion of safety and quality initiatives.
• Facilitate team building, problem solving and conflict resolution within the team.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capacity to multi-task in a fast pace working environment.
• Computer proficiency.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (i.e., functions, authorities, tasks, etc.)

• Provides leadership, supervision, training and coordination of the Maintenance function and team. Assigns tasks, allocates resources, develops/implements scheduling priority process.
• Manages all database information related to preventive maintenance; issues work orders, tracks order status, and records upon completion.
• Prepares, executes and monitors plans for maintenance projects and down times, ensures adherence to schedule and develops contingency plans as necessary.
• Ensures preventative maintenance plans are current, accurate and in place for all equipment types.
• Maintains records of work order history and parts usage to provide reports on operating costs.
• Provides technical support to maintenance staff; assists in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and installing of equipment and in conducting facilities upkeep projects.
• Works with EHS Coordinator to develop and improve safety programs and training within the maintenance department.
• Coordinates and develops skill growth opportunities for direct reports.
• Maintains a "Service Mentality" when working with all employees.
• Complies with the Company's quality management system requirements.
• Follows & enforces all company policies.
• Provides support for the Company Apprenticeship Program.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: (i.e., optional - primary contacts/interfaces internally and externally)

• Interface internally with employees from all departments.
• Interface externally with the vendors and suppliers.
