Pay Rate: $17.00/ Hr. - $20.00/ Hr., with quick advancement opportunities.
Available Shifts:
1st Shift: (32 hours / week)
Monday and Thursday, 9:00 am. - 5:30 pm.
Tuesday and Friday, 8:00 am. - 3:30 pm.
Off Wednesdays
Job Description:
Snelling has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant in Louisville, KY. The Medical Assistant should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:
- Vitals / Lab Tests
- Updating medical records
- Assisting providers
- Maintain patient areas with daily sanitation and supply restock.
- Process lab specimens obtained by provider.
- Patient education
- At least 1 -2 years' experience with MA.
- Does not have to be certified MA.
- High School Diploma or higher degree
- Knowledge of HIPAA
- Medical Terminology
- Vital Signs
- Walking or standing long periods of time
- Frequent use of computers and telephones
- Heavy lifting may be required when assisting patients on exam tables, wheelchairs, etc.
- Medical, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance after 30 days
- 401K (eligible from start date, matched after 1 year)
- Weekly Electronic Pay
