Position Summary
The Infection Control Nurse is responsible for all infection control and prevention activities within the organization to ensure that patients, staff, and visitors are protected from the transmission of communicable diseases. This individual is also tasked with ensuring that the organization maintains infection control and prevention compliance with Joint Commission, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and other state and local regulatory guidelines.
*Position can be fulltime or part-time.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years infection control experience.
Valid RN/LVN License.
Valid means of transportation to work at multiple sites.
Current certification in Infection Control strongly preferred.
