Law Office is Hiring a Paralegal - Family Law Near Los Angeles, CA
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced paralegal to work in person at a cordial and extremely professional boutique law firm.
We have an exceptional work environment and clients, and very interesting cases.
This job is not remote. Please do not apply if you are seeking remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research;
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of court pleadings, motions to strike, summarize depositions, etc;
- Conduct discovery, prepare meet and confer letters, and draft discovery motions;
- Record and store client information;
- Prepare exhibits and assist attorney at trial.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a family law paralegal a must! At least 5 years experience as a family law paralegal;
- Experience with Westlaw and other legal tools, such as Essential Forms. Must be fully trained in Word and Adobe Pro;
- Ability to prioritize and multitask and have a real passion for working in a family law firm;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
