Overview - Advantage Physical Therapy is looking to add a Medical Receptionist to our front office team! This position is critical for our practice as you will be the first point of contact for all new patients and will be greatly involved in their care from an administrative standpoint. We experience constant patient volume in our clinic due to our high patient outcomes, high satisfaction, and professional front office staff.
We emphasize thorough training and professional enhancement with new hires. Our current front office staff all have 5 years of experience working as medical receptionists. Our office/billing manager works on site to collaborate with our medical receptionists during daily billing and insurance authorization.

Responsibilities - Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner- Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls to appropriate individuals- Schedule appointments- File and create new patient charts- Provide assistance with patient billing and insurance authorization
Experience- Proven experience in an administrative or front desk role- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines- Experience with electronic medical records such as MEDENT is preferred- Medical terminology knowledge is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
