Job Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant is an important member of the health care team. Often one of the first to meet the resident and resident#s family; must be skilled in communication and public relations.## The CNA assists professional nursing personnel with routine duties by performing basic patient care procedures.# Participate in receiving and providing a resident status report at the change of shifts.# Assist residents with daily personal hygiene activities, (bathing, mouth care, dressing/undressing, hair and nail care).## Assist with turning, lifting, positioning and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, spa tub, wheelchairs, and lifts.# Answer residents# call lights promptly.# Observe and report changes in residents# condition to nurse.# Complete daily documentation using CareTracker. # Minimum Education/License/Certification Requirements High school education or equivalent preferred.# Certified Nursing Assistant current certificate required.# CNA experience in another health care facility preferred but will provide on the job training.##
