Project Manager/Estimator

Key Result Areas (KRAs): ACCURACY-EFFICIENCY-COLLABORATION

Responsibilities:

• Specialized Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial concrete projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Project Analysis: Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to accurately assess project requirements.
• Cost Management: Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial viability.
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Liaise with vendors and suppliers for cost estimation and procurement of materials.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and adjust estimates accordingly.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
• Technology Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard software for estimation and project management.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of evolving industry trends and technologies to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field preferred, but not mandatory.
• Bilingual in Spanish, a plus but not a requirement. 
• Proven experience in construction estimation, particularly within the commercial concrete sector.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and concrete services.
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore), scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• A firm commitment to safety and industry regulation compliance.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required (60-mile radius around the office)
• Relevant certifications.
