Ground Up Construction Recruiting is Hiring a Project Manager (multi-family) Near Lawrence, KS

Ground Up Construction Recruiting has partnered with a local general contractor in Lawrence, KS on their search for a Project Manager. All of their projects are in the Kansas City metro and they focus on multi-family and commercial.

They're a close-knit group (20-25 employees) that put an emphasis on flexibility and work-life balance. We're searching for a Project Manager that has multi-family experience or a Superintendent that wants to transition into a PM position.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary up to $125k bonuses
  • Company truck or allowance (whichever you prefer)
  • Gas card, phone, and computer
  • 401k with a 4% match
  • Medical, dental & vision insurance
  • 2-3 weeks of PTO

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
  • Oversee construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Create and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Meet at regular intervals with the owner and architect to keep them currently advised on the status of cost versus budget and the progress of the work
  • Produce, establish and maintain a project schedule, incorporating dates and times for owner decisions, availability of design information, procurement of materials and subcontracts, lead times for fabrications, and field installation
