Job Title: Specimen Technician

Location: 4230 Burnham Ave, Las Vegas NV 89119

Contract: 3 Months Contract

Shift: 3rd Shift (6pm to 2:30am)

Pay Rate: $ 18/Hr. to $ 22/Hr.

Job Description

• Responsible for general support functions within the Specimen Processing Department.
• This position requires a data entry background.
• Functions performed may include but are not limited to A-station, presort, pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory, imaging/microfilming, centrifugation, and aliquoting.
• All functions must be performed with confidence, accuracy, and promptly.
• The job is complex and requires that employees have good organization skills and can learn and understand specimen types related to test(s) ordered by clients.
• Must have to the ability learn and understand the compliance regulations related to test ordering which may change daily.
• This position is critical to quality for customer satisfaction.
• Additionally, since many changes do occur from day to day, great flexibility.
• Will be exposed to many different demands made by the customer.
• The majority of the work on the night shift but based on staffing needs, weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime availability is a requirement.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
