We take care of patients in their home care settings

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet people as they enter the office, answer calls, answers general information questions, screens visitors and delivers messages.

Types memos, correspondence, agendas and reports as required.

makes appointments and informs staff members of meetings

Do all necessary copying and all necessary filing

Track verbal orders and all forms signed by physicians, patients and Aides

Input patients and staff schedules on the computer and input new patent and new employee information

Maintain confidentiality of all office and record information

Perform other duties as required

JOB CONDITIONS

One must be able to hear adequately on the telephone with no more than an amplifier and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.

EQUIPMENT OPERATION

This job requires the ability to utilize a PC, calculator, multi line telephone and other related office equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate or equivalent

Must have a minimum of six moths office experience

Needs to be able to type accurately, use a computer and office machines.

Must have a criminal background check

Must understand medical terminology

Medical assistant license is a plus but not a requirement.
