**Job Description**

Warehouse associate that will perform duties to include picking, labeling, re-labeling, loading, unloading, receiving, and inspections of material and dunnage for shipping, receiving and storage in a fast spaced environment.

_Daily operation of powered industrial trucks or other material handling equipment._

_Daily use of hand held RF scanner._

_Daily use of good judgement to comply with instructions or prescribed routines, methods, or practices involving the making of minor decisions._

_Regular participation in special tasks as assigned such as 6S._

_Key responsibilities will include the following:_

_Perform a variety of functions involved with shipping, receiving, storage of parts, materials, and products._

_Prepare parts and materials for shipments. Verify materials and quantities. Pack materials. Load trucks._

_Receive shipments. Unload trucks. Check shipments for completeness and damage. Record shipments and compile necessary paperwork. Verify Dunnage and count for shipments. Move material to proper area for storage._

_Avoiding damage to equipment or process due to mistake or carelessness, including damage to machines, tools, supplies, devices, apparatus and solutions_

_Avoid damage to materials, product or installation. Damage may be caused by negligent inspection or testing, wastage of materials, or damage caused by improper installation._

_Constant safety mindset necessary to prevent injury to others, due to inherent hazards. An accident, should it occur, would result in injuries of a partially incapacitating nature such as loss of a limb or eye, or severe health hazard._

_Responsible for one's own work_

_Daily use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimals and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts, tables, schedules, checking of reports, forms, records, and comparable data, where interpretation is required._

_Requires continuous attention to detail, usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity._

**Qualifications**

**Basic Qualifications:**

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

2 years of forklift experience (sit down)

2 years of warehouse experience

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Powered industrial truck experience, such as Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, etc.

_Bilingual: English / Spanish_

Good computer skills and keyboard proficiency if required.

Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
