We are on the hunt for a seasoned IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team!
If you are an accomplished professional with a passion for overseeing and leading multiple IT projects, we would love to hear from you. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a range of small to medium-sized projects, or a single large-scale project, ensuring the successful delivery of each one.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a Project Management Office (PMO) resource for DTMB managers, supervisors, and staff involved in application maintenance and development.
- Creating, maintaining, and overseeing project schedules that are both logical and resource-driven.
- Managing the change control process and tracking changes in scope.
- Identifying project issues and risks, escalating these to senior management when necessary.
- Monitoring project performance, reporting status, and facilitating the creation of action plans to ensure adherence to project schedules.
What we're looking for:
- At least 5 years of Project Management Experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Enterprise Management Tools.
- Experience with SUITE & SOM is preferred.
- Proven track record in managing projects of different sizes and risks.
- Demonstrated consistency with the State of Michigan (SOM) project management, investment management, and systems engineering methodology (SUITE).
