Partners Personnel is Hiring an Order Selector Near Lancaster, PA
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Warehouse Associate pulls items from warehouse bins to fill customer orders, verifies for accuracy,
separates items to be packed and shipped, and packs individual orders in proper containers to specific
standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reads orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and / or shipped.
- Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designed areas.
- Marks materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
- Weighs and counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Prepares parcels for mailing.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse. Practices safe work habits.
- Performs other duties as requested by Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, customer orders, and packing and shipping
instructions.
- Ability to accomplish simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Able to be on feet for long periods of time.
- Computer literate. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Operate a computer and other machinery for extended periods of time
- Move about inside the Warehouse to access inventory, machinery, etc. for long periods of time. May
include climbing a ladder
- May occasionally be required to lift and move boxes up to 60 lbs
- Ability to observe details at close range
The full-time schedule for this position is Monday : 8 : 30 AM to 7 : 30 PM Tuesday - Thursday : 10 : 30 AM to 7 : 30 PM & Friday : 1 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 PM
