Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Shop Manager to oversee our retail establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our shop operations team. This job entails hands on shop duties as well as some customer relations. Collaboration with office personnel is key for successful day to day operations and people skills is a necessity (I.e. working with customers and personnel). On the job training will be provided for all work that is done in the shop, but a basic knowledge of the following skills will be needed:
Experience:
- Operating shop tools and machinery
- Driving equipment such as tractors and forklifts
- Welding;
- Advanced mechanical skills
- Wiring trailers and trucks
- Some fabrication
- Able to understand and decipher instructions for installation of aftermarket truck parts (i.e. hitches, front bumpers, airbags)
- Unloading semi's
- Strong leadership skills: Able to be self-motivated and lead others; organize work tasks by priority
- Experience in supervising a team to achieve operational goals.
- Confident in problem solving with a desire to learn and lead
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
